WebsNP Affiliate Program FAQ
Commission, tracking, holding periods, payouts and the rules — answered plainly, and matching exactly how the programme actually behaves.
What is the WebsNP affiliate program?
It is a commission programme for people who refer new customers to WebsNP. You share a personal referral link, and when someone who follows it signs up and pays for a WebsNP service, you earn a percentage of what they paid. It is free to join and there is nothing to buy.
How do I become a WebsNP affiliate?
Sign in to your WebsNP client area, open the Affiliate section, read the programme policy and submit the short application. Our team reviews each application and replies by e-mail, usually within a couple of working days.
How much commission can I earn?
Up to 20% of the net amount billed, depending on which service your referral buys. Services with better margins pay more; domain registration pays least because it sits close to cost. Anything without a specific rate pays the 10% default. The full table is on the commission rates page.
Which WebsNP services qualify for commission?
Effectively the whole catalogue: shared and Windows hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, cloud and dedicated servers, domain registration, SSL certificates, business email, Google Workspace and website development. Account balance top-ups do not earn commission by themselves, because moving money into a wallet is not a service purchase.
How are referrals tracked?
Following your referral link records the visit and stores your affiliate code in the visitor's browser as a first-party cookie. If they create a WebsNP account while that cookie is live, the customer is credited to you permanently. You can also add ?ref=YOURCODE to any WebsNP page to link straight to a specific service.
How long does referral tracking last?
The attribution window is currently 30 days from the click. If the visitor signs up within that period the referral is yours; if they sign up later, or clear their cookies or switch device first, it cannot be credited.
What happens if two affiliates refer the same person?
The most recent valid referral before signup is credited. If someone follows your link and then another affiliate's before creating an account, the other affiliate is credited. Once a customer has been attributed, that decision is permanent and cannot be changed by a later click.
When do commissions become available to withdraw?
Commission is recorded as pending the moment your referral's invoice is paid, and it stays pending for 30 days. That window covers the period in which an order could still be refunded or cancelled. After it passes, the commission becomes available and counts towards your withdrawable balance.
What is the minimum withdrawal amount?
The minimum withdrawal is NPR 10,000. You can request a payout once your available balance reaches that figure; below it, the request is declined and your balance simply carries forward.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
Open the Withdrawals page in your affiliate dashboard, choose your payout method (Bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, PayPal, WebsNP account credit) and confirm. A request settles your whole available balance, so the amount is shown to you rather than typed in. Requests are normally processed within 7 working days, and you are e-mailed when the payment is sent.
Can I refer myself?
No. Orders you place through your own referral link do not earn commission, and the system blocks this automatically. Using a second account, a family member's account or a colleague's account to buy through your own link is self-referral too, and is treated as programme abuse.
Can I promote WebsNP using Google Ads?
You may run paid advertising for your own content, but not on WebsNP brand terms. Bidding on "WebsNP", misspellings of it, or our service page URLs is not allowed, and neither is any ad that could be mistaken for an official WebsNP advertisement. We compete for our own brand searches, and an affiliate bidding against us costs both of us money.
Can I promote WebsNP on social media?
Yes, and it is one of the better channels for hosting referrals. Share your link on your own pages, in relevant groups where promotion is welcome, and in content where recommending a host makes sense. What is not allowed is unsolicited mass messaging, comment spam, or posting into communities that have not invited it.
What happens if a referred customer gets a refund?
The commission is reversed. If it was still pending it is cancelled and never counted towards your balance. If it had already become available or been paid to you, the amount is recovered from your future earnings, and both the original entry and the reversal stay visible in your history.
Can existing WebsNP customers become affiliates?
Yes, and most of our affiliates are customers. Becoming an affiliate adds to your account rather than replacing anything: you remain an ordinary WebsNP client, your services, invoices and support tickets are unchanged, and the affiliate section simply appears alongside them in your client area.
Do affiliate commissions expire?
Earned commission does not expire while your affiliate account is in good standing. Commission that is reversed because of a refund or a rejected referral is gone, and commission on an account we terminate for policy breaches may be forfeited, as set out in the programme policy.
Can WebsNP change commission rates?
Yes. Rates are a commercial decision and we may adjust them, add or remove services, or change the thresholds. A change applies to referrals made after it takes effect and never to commission you have already earned. The rates published on our commission page are always the ones currently in force.
Can my affiliate account be suspended?
It can, for the reasons listed in the programme policy — self-referral, fake or spam-driven orders, misleading advertising, brand misuse or repeated refund abuse. While suspended you earn no new commission, but commission you have already earned stays on your account and visible in your dashboard, and your customer account and services are unaffected.
Is there any guaranteed income?
No. There is no guaranteed, minimum or typical income, and no figure quoted on our pages is a forecast. What you earn depends entirely on how many people you refer and what they buy. Many affiliates refer nobody and earn nothing.
