Every plan comes with Google's Admin console, so the company, not individual staff, controls accounts, devices and data.
Add and suspend users, reset passwords, rename accounts and add email aliases. Create groups such as info@ and sales@ and organise staff into departments with their own settings.
Enforce 2-Step Verification, require security keys for admins, set password strength rules and sign a user out of every device at once. Business Plus adds Google Vault for retention and eDiscovery.
See which phones and laptops hold company data, require a screen lock and remotely remove the work account from a lost device. Business Plus adds device approvals and advanced controls.

The apps are the same across editions. Storage, Meet capacity, security controls and Gemini scope are what change.
[email protected] instead of [email protected]. The company owns every mailbox, can reset passwords and remove leavers, and each user can send up to 2,000 messages a day with Google's spam and phishing filtering in front of the inbox.
Storage is pooled across the organisation: five Starter users share 150 GB, five Standard users share 10 TB. Shared Drives keep project files owned by the company rather than by whoever uploaded them.
Every Workspace edition allows meetings up to 24 hours. Starter hosts 100 participants; Standard adds recording, noise cancellation and breakout rooms for 150; Plus takes 500 with attendance reports.
Since January 2025 Gemini is included in the price. Starter gets Gemini in Gmail and the Gemini app at standard access. Standard and Plus add Gemini in Docs, Sheets, Slides and Meet notes, with chats that are not used to train Google's models.
Documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms and sites, plus shared calendars, appointment booking pages and AppSheet Core for simple internal apps, in every Business edition.
Several people edit the same document at once with comments and suggestions. Every change is saved, so you can see who changed what and restore any earlier version.

Google renamed Google Apps for Work to G Suite in September 2016 and G Suite to Google Workspace in October 2020. The product you buy today is Google Workspace; G Suite Basic and G Suite Business are no longer sold, and the old legacy free edition is only available for personal, non-commercial use. Google bills Nepal customers in US dollars by credit or debit card; Nepali rupees are not a supported Google billing currency, and Google's own help pages point customers in that position to a local reseller. Planning your service
Google Workspace is a business subscription for domain-based email and collaboration. Before purchasing, separate user licences, domain ownership and migration work so the setup covers your actual organisation.
List users, groups and aliases, identify the domain administrator and collect existing mailbox sizes. Avoid sharing a single personal account across staff. Establish who will own the administrator account and billing relationship.
Storage, meeting capabilities and administration features vary by edition. Use the detailed plan guide and confirm current entitlements before ordering. If you already have Workspace, discuss the existing subscription and transfer requirements first.
