WebsNP Affiliate Commission Rates
What each service pays, how the amount is worked out, and what a referral is actually worth once you put real prices through it. Current rates, read live from our billing configuration.
Current commission rates by service
Rates differ by service because margins do. Hosting carries a healthy margin and pays well; domain registration is close to cost, so it pays less. The highest rate currently configured is 20%.

How commission is calculated
Commission is a percentage of what WebsNP actually earns from the order — not of the invoice total, which includes tax we simply pass on.
What counts towards commission
- The price the customer actually paid, after any discount or promotional price.
- Setup fees and add-ons, since these are billed as ordinary line items at the rate for that service.
- Renewals, but only for services configured as recurring in the table above.
What does not count
- VAT and any other tax — collected on the government's behalf, never ours to share.
- Account balance top-ups — money moving into a wallet is not a service purchase. Commission is earned when that balance pays for a service.
- Unpaid, cancelled or fraudulent orders, and anything refunded in full.
- Estimates and proforma documents, which are quotations rather than payments.
commission = net line amount (after discount, before VAT) × the rate for that service.
Where an invoice carries a whole-invoice discount, it is shared across the lines in
proportion to their value, so each line is commissioned on what it really contributed.

Putting a few together
A web designer who hands five clients a year onto shared hosting and registers their domains earns commission on ten separate orders. An agency that moves its whole client base onto a reseller plan earns on one larger order, and again if that plan is configured to pay on renewal. A single dedicated server referral can be worth more than a year of small hosting referrals.
From earned to paid
Pending — 30 days
Recorded the moment the invoice is paid, and held while the order can still be refunded or cancelled.
Available
The holding period has passed. The amount counts towards your withdrawable balance and shows as available in your dashboard.
Withdrawn — from NPR 10,000
Once available earnings reach the minimum, request a payout. We review it and send the money, normally within 7 working days.
Rates can change. When they do, the new rate applies to referrals made after the change — commission already earned is never recalculated. The programme policy sets this out in full, and how tracking works covers attribution.
