Google AI Pro ยท Feature guide

Google AI Pro features: the complete list of what is included

Google AI Pro bundles a dozen separate products into one subscription, and Google's own pages list them faster than they explain them. This is the full inventory: each benefit, what Google actually says about it, and whether it works from Nepal.

Every claim here comes from Google's official product and help pages. Where Google publishes no number, we say that instead of guessing one.

The short version

  • One subscription, many products: the Gemini app, Deep Research, Gemini Notebook, Google Flow, image and video generation, Gemini inside Google apps, 5 TB of storage and a set of developer tools.
  • Current name: Google AI Pro. It absorbed the older names Google One AI Premium and Gemini Advanced, both retired.
  • Google's own price: $19.99 a month, billed in US dollars. Annual billing exists and Google says it saves up to 16%, without publishing the annual figure.
  • Age: most of the AI benefits require you to be 18 or older.
  • The honest part: a few advertised benefits are United States only and several are still rolling out. Those are tagged below rather than quietly included in the list.

How this list is organised

Google splits these benefits across five help pages, so the same feature is often described two ways. We have grouped everything by what you would use it for, and tagged each item for Nepal: Yes means it works from Nepal today, Rollout means Google calls it gradual or region-limited, and No means Google lists it for other countries only. If you want the plan summary rather than the detail, start at the Google AI Pro overview.

Gemini app: model, limits, context and uploads

Which model you get

Google's subscriptions page says Pro and Ultra subscribers get Gemini 3.1 Pro, while the free tier gets Gemini 3.6 Flash with varying access to 3.1 Pro. The help centre describes it differently again, showing every tier with some access to the Pro model. The accurate way to state it is this: AI Pro gives you the Gemini Pro model, currently Gemini 3.1 Pro, with far higher usage limits. Model names change often, so recheck the version before you buy.

Usage limits: 4x, and no published prompt count

Google publishes limits only as multipliers of the free tier's "standard limits". AI Plus is 2x. AI Pro is 4x. Ultra is higher again. There is no official number of prompts per day for any tier, and Google states plainly that limits can change. If a seller quotes you a daily prompt count for AI Pro, they made it up.

A 1 million token context window

Free accounts work with 32,000 tokens of context, AI Plus with 128,000 and AI Pro with 1 million, which Google describes as up to 1,500 pages at a time. This is the benefit that changes the work rather than just speeding it up. A tender document, a thesis draft or a long contract goes in whole, and answers stay grounded in the actual text instead of the first few pages.

File uploads

Up to 10 files per prompt. Video files can be 2 GB each and other files 100 MB. Pro raises the totals: video upload length goes from 5 minutes to 1 hour and audio from 10 minutes to 3 hours. You can also attach one code folder or GitHub repository of up to 5,000 files and 100 MB.

Gemini Live, Canvas, Gems and scheduled actions are often sold as Pro features. Google does not state a subscription requirement for any of them. Gems need a 13+ account and scheduled actions are capped at 10 active ones on a personal account. Treat them as part of Gemini, not part of what you are paying for.

Research and study tools

Deep Research

Deep Research plans a research task, browses and reads many pages, then writes a report with citations. Google gives it to all users, so it is not a Pro-only feature. What AI Pro adds is report generation with the Pro model and higher limits, with no numbers published. It needs an 18+ account, one report uses more of your allowance than an ordinary prompt, and the charts inside reports are an Ultra feature. Our Deep Research guide covers how to brief it properly.

Gemini Notebook, formerly NotebookLM

NotebookLM has been renamed Gemini Notebook. It answers only from the sources you upload and cites them. AI Pro raises every limit:

LimitStandardWith Google AI Pro
Notebooks100500
Sources per notebook50300
Chat queries per day50500
Audio Overviews per day320
Video Overviews per day320

Pro also brings higher access to Gemini models inside notebooks, chat customisation (Guide, Analyst or a custom style, plus output length), advanced sharing including chat-only notebooks, notebook analytics and watermark removal, with India, South Korea and Vietnam excluded from that last one. Google changed these limits starting 2 September 2026, so check the live help page before making a decision on the numbers. The Gemini Notebook guide explains the workflow.

Creative tools: video, images and music

Google Flow credits

Every Google account gets 50 Flow credits a day. AI Pro adds 1,000 credits a month on top. Neither pool rolls over: unused daily credits expire that day and unused monthly credits expire that month. At Google's current costs a Veo 3.1 Quality 8-second clip is 100 credits, Veo 3.1 Fast is 20, Veo 3.1 Lite is 10 and Gemini Omni Flash drafts run from 4 to 15 credits. The monthly allowance is therefore about ten finished Quality shots, or a hundred cheap ones. See the Google Flow guide for the full credit table.

Video in the Gemini app

Video generation inside the Gemini app needs a Google AI plan and an 18+ account. Google's help page names the model Gemini Omni; the subscriptions page still mentions limited Veo 3.1 Lite access for Pro. No per-day video count is published. Google's own advice is to use the Gemini app for quick one-off ideas and Flow for multi-shot work.

Images with Nano Banana Pro

The Gemini app's image model is Nano Banana 2. Free users get the Fast and Thinking models. Subscribers on Plus, Pro and Ultra also get the Pro model, Nano Banana Pro, which is Gemini 3 Pro Image: output at 1K, 2K or 4K and noticeably better text rendering inside images. It works everywhere the Gemini app works, needs an 18+ account, and Google publishes no generation limits. Outputs carry a SynthID marker and a visible watermark.

Google Photos and Flow Music

The generative features in Google Photos, "Photo to video" and "Remix", get higher limits with AI Pro. Google Flow Music is included with 10,000 monthly credits, which Google describes as about 2,000 songs.

Gemini inside Gmail, Docs and other Google apps

Google's wording is "Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Vids, and more". It publishes no definitive list of which apps a personal account gets, so we will not print one. The conditions Google does state: 18+, select languages only with no list published, and some Vids features unavailable in Germany. Google also states that Gemini in Workspace apps does not use your content to train its models. In day to day use this means drafting and summarising inside Gmail and Docs rather than copying text into a separate chat window. AI Inbox in Gmail and Daily Brief are rolling out to Plus and Pro subscribers, so treat those two as pending rather than promised.

Storage: 5 TB shared, not 5 TB each

AI Pro includes 5 TB of storage shared across Gmail, Google Drive and Google Photos, against 15 GB on a free account. Google's support page words it as "5 TB or 10 TB based on your specific plan". It is one pool: a full Photos library eats into your Gmail allowance.

The plan manager can share storage and selected AI benefits with up to five other people. YouTube Premium Lite, Developer Program premium, Google Store credit and Colab are not shareable. If a subscription is arranged for you rather than bought by you, ask who holds the plan manager role first.

If the plan ends, storage drops back to 15 GB. Over quota you cannot upload to Drive, Photos backup stops, Gmail sending and receiving can be affected and files stay readable but not editable. Google removes content only after two years over quota, with at least three months' notice. The storage guide works through what 5 TB actually holds.

Developer benefits

These matter to a smaller group but they are real, and one caveat catches people out.

  • Google Antigravity, the agentic IDE, with higher limits and prioritised traffic. Pro and Ultra subscribers get quotas that refresh every five hours, while the free tier moved to weekly limits.
  • Jules, Gemini Code Assist and Gemini CLI with higher request limits. No numbers are published for any of them.
  • Google AI Studio with increased limits and access to Nano Banana Pro and the Gemini Pro models. The caveat: this applies inside the AI Studio web interface only. A direct Gemini API key is still billed normally, so it is not a free API allowance.
  • Google Developer Program premium with $10 of Google Cloud credits a month, not shareable with your family group.
  • Firebase Studio with 30 workspaces. The Colab benefit is limited to plan managers in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Extras that depend on where you live

Google lists these as AI Pro benefits, but each carries a country condition. Nobody should buy the plan for these alone.

YouTube Premium Lite

An individual plan, in the countries where Google offers it, for the plan manager only and not during a trial. Do not assume it reaches a Nepali account.

Google Home Premium

The Standard tier of Google Home Premium is included where the service is offered.

Google Health Premium

Requires a Pixel Watch or Fitbit device and is offered in around 35 countries.

Top-up AI credits

Extra credits can be bought for more usage in Gemini, Flow and Antigravity, except in Japan.

Listed in the plan but not usable from Nepal

Being straight about this is more useful than a longer feature list. Google tags the following as United States only: Gemini Spark and its Skills (the Google One page marks Spark as US only, and Google separately excludes the EEA, Nigeria, Switzerland and the UK), Dreambeans, Google TV Create Hub, "auto browse" in Chrome and Google Earth's Gemini features. Project Mariner, Deep Think, Project Genie and full YouTube Premium belong to Google AI Ultra rather than Pro.

Rollouts change. Something marked US only today can widen later, and something available can be pulled. Before you buy for one specific feature, open Google's help page for that feature and check the country list yourself on the day.

What the whole bundle costs

Google charges $19.99 a month in US dollars and needs a card enabled for international online payments. Nepal is on Google's country list for AI Pro, so availability is not the obstacle. The payment method is.

$1.06 per month
Google AI Pro through WebsNP, billed as one 18-month term ($19.07), paid in Nepali rupees. Everything on this page applies to your own Google account.
Get Google AI Pro

Two checks before you spend anything. Name the three or four items on this list you would use every week; if you cannot name three, the free tier is enough for now. Then compare the sibling plans, because AI Plus at $4.99 with 400 GB and 2x limits covers a lot of casual use. The full breakdown is on our price page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Google AI Pro include everything shown on Google's marketing page?

Not for every country. The plan is one bundle, but individual benefits carry their own country and age conditions. Gemini Spark, Dreambeans, Google TV Create Hub and the Colab benefit are tagged for the United States, and YouTube Premium Lite depends on where Google offers it. The core tools, meaning Gemini, Deep Research, Gemini Notebook, Flow, images and storage, all list Nepal.

How many prompts a day do I get with AI Pro?

Google does not publish a number. It only says AI Pro gives 4x the free tier's standard limits, and that those limits can change. Any specific daily figure you see quoted is not from Google.

Is Gemini Advanced the same as Google AI Pro?

Yes, in the sense that Gemini Advanced and Google One AI Premium were the earlier names for this subscription. Both names are retired. If a listing still advertises Gemini Advanced, it is describing Google AI Pro.

Do the Flow credits and Notebook limits reset together?

They are separate systems. Flow gives 50 credits a day to everyone plus 1,000 a month to AI Pro subscribers, and neither pool carries over. Gemini Notebook limits are daily caps on chat queries and overviews, plus totals for notebooks and sources.

Does the subscription give me free Gemini API access for my app?

No. The AI Studio benefits apply inside the AI Studio web interface only. A direct Gemini API key is billed separately at Google's normal rates, so a developer building a product still needs a paid key.

Can I share these features with my family?

The plan manager can share storage and selected AI benefits with up to five other people. Several items are excluded, including YouTube Premium Lite, Developer Program premium, Google Store credit and Colab. If someone else arranged your subscription, ask who the plan manager is before planning around sharing.
