Restaurant POS Software for Nepali Restaurants and Bars
Take orders by table, send KOTs to the kitchen and bar, split bills, apply VAT and see the day's sales without waiting for the manager.
On a busy Friday night a restaurant lives or dies by small things: the right order reaching the right kitchen counter, a bill that is correct the first time, a table that is freed quickly. Restaurant POS software turns the waiter's notepad into an order that the kitchen, the bar and the cashier all see.
WebsNP sets up your tables, menu, categories and printers, and configures billing to your VAT and service charge arrangements. Whether you run a thali restaurant, a rooftop bar, a momo shop or a dining hall inside a hotel, the screens and printouts follow your way of working.
Start with a demo on WhatsApp. Tell us how many tables you have, whether you have a bar, and how many people take orders. We will show a working system with menu items like yours and send a written quote, because a fair price depends on your setup.
Who Restaurant POS Software is for
Dine-in restaurants
Family restaurants and fine-dining places with table service, waiters and a separate kitchen.
Bars and rooftop lounges
Venues with bar tabs, bottle stock, happy-hour pricing and separate bar and kitchen tickets.
Fast food and momo shops
Counter-service outlets where speed at the till and takeaway orders matter most.
Hotel restaurants
Dining rooms that must post to room accounts as well as settle at the table.
Multi-outlet owners
Owners who want one set of sales figures across more than one branch.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Handwritten orders misread in the kitchen, so wrong dishes are cooked and wasted. | Orders are typed once and printed as a clear KOT at the right kitchen or bar counter. |
| Bills calculated by hand with VAT and service charge, causing arguments at the table. | Totals, taxes and discounts are calculated from your settings and printed on a neat bill. |
| Groups that want to split the bill by person or by item. | Split by item, by seat or equally, without cancelling and rewriting the order. |
| Waiters or cashiers pocketing cash or giving unauthorised discounts. | Every order, void and discount is tied to a user, and sensitive actions need manager approval. |
| Stock that disappears: bottles, cheese, chicken, with no way to see where. | Menu items can deduct ingredients or bottles, so you compare expected and actual stock. |
| The owner does not know which dishes make money or which hours are busy. | Reports by item, category, hour, waiter and payment type. |

Built for how Nepal works
VAT and service charge
Restaurant bills in Nepal commonly carry 13% VAT and, in many places, a service charge. The system can be configured for both. Rates and rules change, so confirm the current position with the Inland Revenue Department and relevant authorities.
Bar and liquor stock
Bottle-wise and peg-wise stock keeps bar sales understandable. Licensing and excise rules are set by the authorities; we configure the records, you confirm the rules.
Power cuts and printers
Kitchens cannot stop when power flickers. We plan for backup power for the billing counter and printers and for a paper fallback.
QR payments
Payments received through QR can be recorded as a payment method on the bill. We do not claim any payment partner relationship; we record how the guest paid.
Nepali menu names
Dishes can be entered in English and Nepali so staff and guests recognise them.

Can the POS handle VAT and service charge?
Yes, tax and service charge lines can be configured on the bill. Because rates and rules are set by the authorities and can change, confirm the current requirements with them and tell us the settings to apply.
Can orders print in the kitchen and the bar separately?
Yes. Menu items can be assigned to a kitchen, bar or other counter, and each prints on its own printer. Cancellations and reprints are recorded so the kitchen knows when an order changed.
Can customers split the bill?
Yes. A bill can be split by item, by seat or equally. This is done on the open table without cancelling and re-entering the order, which keeps the audit trail clean.
What hardware do I need?
Usually a computer or tablet at the counter, a receipt printer, and kitchen or bar printers if you want KOTs. We advise on a setup that fits your size and budget during the demo.
Will it work during a power cut or without internet?
It depends on how it is installed and your backup power. We discuss this at planning, including a UPS for the counter and a simple manual fallback so service continues.
Can I see sales from my phone?
Reports can be viewed in a browser, so owners can check daily sales and cashier closing from a phone where internet is available. Ask us during the demo to see how this looks.
Can I connect it to a hotel system?
Yes. Table bills can be posted to a guest room when used with our hotel management software. Tell us if you run both a hotel and a restaurant.
How much does it cost?
The cost depends on the number of counters, features and hardware advice. We do not list prices. Message us on WhatsApp for a demo and we will send a written quote.
