Custom Software Development in Nepal, Built Around Your Process
When no ready-made product fits, WebsNP scopes, quotes and builds a Laravel web application to your workflow, delivers it in phases and supports it after launch.
Most businesses in Nepal should start with a ready-made product, because it is faster, cheaper to run and already tested. Some should not. If your process is unusual, if several off-the-shelf tools are stitched together with Excel, or if the workflow is the thing that makes your business different, custom software can fit better than any package. WebsNP builds web applications for exactly those cases.
We begin with a discovery conversation, write down what the system must do and quote a fixed scope. Work is delivered in phases so you can see and use progress rather than waiting for one big handover. We build in Laravel, host the result and support it after launch. You do not pay for features you do not need, and you are not locked into guesses about what you might need later.
Before you commission anything, look at our ready-made products such as ERP software, CRM software and POS billing. If one fits, we will say so. If not, send us a WhatsApp message and we will start the discovery.
Who Custom Software Development is for
Businesses with an unusual workflow
Your approval chain, pricing rules or production steps do not match any package you have tried.
Companies held together by spreadsheets
Three or four Excel files and a chat group are carrying the business and errors are growing.
Organisations that need a customer or member portal
Clients, members or dealers need to log in, place requests and see their own records.
Startups testing a service idea
You need a first working version of a product, built in phases so you can learn before spending more.
Offices outgrowing ready-made software
Your current system covers most needs, but the missing parts cost you time every day.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Ready-made software forces you to change how you work | A custom build follows your process, so staff learn a system that matches the job instead of memorising workarounds. |
| You have been quoted a vague price that keeps growing | We write the scope first and quote it as fixed. Changes after sign-off are discussed and agreed in writing before work starts. |
| You fear a huge project that never finishes | Delivery is phased, so a useful first release goes live early and later phases build on real use. |
| Data sits in many files and nobody trusts it | We design one database with clear fields, roles and reports, and import your existing data during set-up. |
| The developer disappears after launch | Hosting, backups and support after launch are part of the conversation from the start. |
| You do not know what to ask for | Discovery turns your explanations into a plain-language requirements document you can review and correct. |

Phased delivery
A first usable release, then agreed phases that add the next modules.
Hosting and backups
The application hosted, monitored and backed up, with a plan for restoring it.
Training and support
Staff training at launch and a clear route for fixes and changes afterwards.
Built for how Nepal works
Bikram Sambat dates and Nepali text
Screens, reports and printouts can show BS next to AD and support Nepali Unicode, so staff and customers read the same dates and names.
VAT, invoices and tax reports
Invoices can be designed for 13% VAT where your business is registered. Billing rules from the Inland Revenue Department change, so we ask you to confirm current requirements with the IRD or your accountant.
Payments and messaging
Online payment and SMS or WhatsApp messaging can be configured where the provider and your merchant account allow it. Each provider has its own approval and terms.
Power and internet realities
We discuss slow connections, load-shedding and backups during discovery, and design screens that save work and recover cleanly.
Local business habits
Cash, cheque and wallet payments, udharo ledgers, partners who approve by phone and festival peaks are normal here, and good software should not fight them.

Do you only build web applications?
Our core work is web applications in Laravel that run in a browser on computers, tablets and phones. If you need a native mobile app, tell us. We will say honestly whether we can do it well or whether you need another specialist.
How much does custom software cost?
It depends on the number of users, modules, integrations and data to migrate, so we do not publish a figure. After discovery we give a written fixed-scope quote, and changes to that scope are agreed before work begins.
How long does a project take?
A small system can have a first release in weeks, while larger systems are delivered in phases over months. We give a phase plan with the quote, and the timeline also depends on how quickly your team reviews and answers questions.
Will I own the code and the data?
Your data is yours. Ownership of code and the terms of use are agreed in the written scope and quote before work starts, so ask about it in the discovery call and we will state it clearly in the agreement.
Can you connect to eSewa, Khalti or Fonepay?
Payment gateways can be configured where the provider and your merchant account allow it. Each gateway has its own approval, fees and technical terms, and we explain these during discovery before promising anything.
What happens after launch?
We host the system, take backups and handle fixes. New features are scoped and quoted as separate changes. The support terms are written into the agreement so you know who to contact and what is covered.
Can you improve a system someone else built?
Often yes, after a review of the code, hosting and documentation. We tell you honestly whether the system is worth improving or whether starting again would cost less in the long run.
Should I buy ready-made software instead?
If a ready-made product covers most of your process, yes. It is faster and cheaper to run. We keep a catalogue of ready-made systems and recommend one when it fits, and propose a custom build only when it genuinely will not.
