Hospital Management Software for Nepali Hospitals

One system for registration, OPD, IPD, billing, pharmacy and laboratory, built around how small and mid-size hospitals in Nepal actually run.

A hospital runs on handovers: the front desk hands a patient to the doctor, the doctor to the laboratory, the ward to the pharmacy and finally everything to the billing counter. When each step lives in a separate register or spreadsheet, the discharge bill is where the gaps show up, as missed charges, disputed totals and long waits for the family.

WebsNP builds hospital management software (often called HMIS) that keeps one patient record from registration to discharge. OPD tickets, IPD admissions, bed allocation, investigations, pharmacy issues and final bills all attach to the same patient number, so nobody retypes a name or hunts through files.

It suits private hospitals, nursing homes, community hospitals and trust-run facilities that have outgrown paper but do not need a heavy imported system. We configure it to your departments, tariff list and the reports your facility must submit, then train your staff. See clinic software if you run a smaller outpatient set-up.

Who Hospital Management Software is for

Private hospitals and nursing homes

Facilities with OPD, a few wards, a pharmacy and a lab that want one bill per admission instead of several separate slips.

Community and trust hospitals

Hospitals run by a committee or trust that need clear collection reports, fee concessions with a reason and audit-ready records.

Hospital owners and directors

People who want daily collection, department-wise income and outstanding dues without waiting for the accountant.

Billing and reception staff

Teams that register dozens of patients an hour and need fast search, tokens and correct tariffs.

Ward in-charges and nurses

Staff who track admitted patients, bed occupancy, doctor orders and charges raised during the stay.

Problems it solves

The problem todayHow the software fixes it
Charges are forgotten at discharge, so the hospital loses income.Bed days, procedures, investigations and pharmacy issues post to the admission as they happen, so the final bill is already complete.
The same patient is registered twice with different spellings.Search by name, phone or patient number before creating a record, with a warning when a likely duplicate exists.
Lab reports are written by hand and sometimes reach the wrong file.Test orders go from the doctor to the lab electronically and results attach to the patient record, ready to print.
Owners cannot see the day's income by department.Dashboards and daily closing reports show OPD, IPD, lab and pharmacy collections, cash versus credit, per counter.
Insurance and credit patients are tracked in notebooks.Credit and panel patients carry a separate payer, approved limits and an outstanding statement you can follow up.
Anyone can open any patient file.Role-based logins limit what reception, doctors, nurses and the pharmacy can see, and an audit trail shows who changed what.

Reports for your regulator

The software can be configured to the reports your facility must submit. We build the layouts you give us rather than claim a standard format.

Patients who call before they come

SMS and WhatsApp reminders and report-ready messages suit a population that rarely checks email.

Power cuts and patchy internet

We discuss a local-server set-up with backup so the OPD counter keeps running through outages, and agree a backup routine with you.

How we get you started

Frequently asked questions

Is this suitable for a small hospital with 10 to 30 beds?

Yes. Smaller hospitals usually start with registration, OPD, billing, pharmacy and lab, then add IPD and bed management when ready. You pay for the modules and users you need, quoted after a demo.

Can it run without internet?

It can be set up on a local server inside the hospital so day-to-day work continues if the connection drops. Features such as SMS and cloud backup need internet when available. We explain the options during the demo.

How is patient data kept private?

Each staff member has a login with permissions for their role, and an audit log records changes. We also recommend regular backups and limiting who has administrator rights. Policy decisions stay with your management.

Can we move our existing patient records?

If your records are in Excel or another database, we can usually import patient lists and balances after cleaning. Paper files are normally entered gradually, starting with active patients.

Does it handle insurance or credit patients?

Yes. You can mark a payer for a patient, set approved limits, and track what is outstanding. Specific claim formats can be configured for your insurers if you share the forms.

Can doctors see their own earnings?

Doctor-wise reports show consultations and procedures billed, and shares or commissions can be configured to your agreement with each doctor.

What does it cost?

Price depends on modules, number of users, beds and whether you need a local server. We give a written quote after a demo, with no fixed price list on this page.

Do you train our staff?

Yes. Training is done counter by counter, in Nepali or English, and we can repeat sessions for new staff on request.
