Veterinary Clinic and Pet Shop Software for Nepal
Keep owner and animal records, vaccination due dates, farm visit notes, medicine stock and bills together, with reminders owners actually read on WhatsApp.
A vet clinic in Nepal often serves two very different customers on the same day: a family with a pet dog and a farmer with ten buffaloes who lives two hours away. Records for both usually sit in a notebook, on loose cards or in the doctor's memory. When the same animal returns six months later, the history is hard to find.
Veterinary clinic software from WebsNP keeps one record per owner and one per animal, so visits, vaccination dates, weights and medicine given are in one place. Reminders for the next vaccine or follow-up visit go out on WhatsApp or SMS, and the clinic knows exactly what is due this week.
If you also sell pet food, accessories and medicines, the same system handles stock and bills with 13% VAT where you are registered. This software is for record keeping, billing and scheduling only. Medical decisions always stay with your veterinarian. See also inventory management.
Who Veterinary Clinic Software is for
Small animal clinics
Dogs, cats and rabbits whose owners return for vaccines, check-ups and grooming.
Mixed and large animal practices
Vets who travel to dairy, goat, pig or poultry farms and need visit notes and herd records.
Pet shops with a clinic corner
Shops that sell food and accessories and also run a small consultation room.
Agrovet and medicine dealers
Counters that sell veterinary medicines and feed and need batch and expiry tracking.
Animal shelters and boarding
Organisations that keep records of animals admitted, adopted or boarded.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Vaccination dates live on a card the owner loses | Every animal has a dated vaccine record in the clinic, so the history survives a lost card. |
| Owners forget the next due date and come back late | The system lists animals due soon and prepares a WhatsApp or SMS message to the owner. |
| A farm visit is billed from memory | Visit notes, travel and medicine used are recorded against the farm and billed in one go. |
| Medicines expire on the shelf | Batch and expiry tracking shows what to use or return first. |
| Pet shop sales and clinic billing are kept separately | One billing screen handles consultations, medicines and retail items with the right VAT. |
| Credit for farmers is tracked on scraps of paper | Each owner has a ledger with dated balances and part payments. |

Can the system remind owners about vaccinations?
It lists animals whose next dose date you have entered and prepares a message for the owner. Sending uses the WhatsApp or SMS arrangement set up with us. The vaccine schedule itself is always decided and entered by your vet.
Does it give medical advice or diagnosis?
No. It stores what your vet records and helps with billing and scheduling. It does not suggest diagnoses or treatments.
Can I keep records for a whole farm?
Yes. A farm can be one owner with many animals or a herd group, and visit notes can be saved at either level. Tell us how you prefer to track herds in the demo.
We also run a pet shop. Is that covered?
Yes. Retail items, stock, barcodes where you use them, VAT billing and customer credit can be handled alongside clinic services.
Can I track medicine expiry?
Yes. Medicines can be received with batch and expiry dates and the system shows items nearing expiry so you can use or return them in time.
Can I import my current records?
We can import owner and animal lists from Excel. Paper cards can be entered during set-up, and the time depends on how many you have.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on your users, whether you need a pet shop counter, and customisation, so we quote after a demo. Message us on WhatsApp.
Does it work without internet?
It depends on how it is installed. Discuss your connectivity and power situation with us, and we suggest a setup that suits the clinic and farm visits.
