Payroll Software for Nepali Businesses
Run the monthly salary sheet in Bikram Sambat months, with allowances, deductions, advances and payslips ready to send on WhatsApp.
Every month the same job returns: collect attendance, add allowances, subtract advances, work out the statutory deductions and print a talab sheet that the owner can sign. In many Nepali offices this still lives in one large Excel file that only one person understands, and one wrong formula quietly repeats for months.
WebsNP builds payroll software that follows how Nepali employers actually pay: salary by Bikram Sambat month, fiscal year starting in Shrawan, Dashain allowance, advance recovery, and deductions for provident fund, CIT, social security and tax on salary kept as configurable rules instead of hard-coded numbers.
Because tax and labour rules are revised, we set the rules up with you and make them editable. You confirm the current rates with your accountant or the relevant office, and the system applies them consistently to every employee. Ask for a demo on WhatsApp and we will show a sample salary sheet.
Who Payroll Software is for
Companies with 10 to 500 staff
Offices, factories and service firms that outgrew the Excel salary sheet and need history, payslips and reports per employee.
Schools and colleges
Teaching and non-teaching staff with different pay structures, grade, allowances and annual increments.
Hospitals and clinics
Doctors, nurses and support staff on shifts, with overtime, night allowance and leave adjustments.
Hotels, restaurants and retail chains
Staff on monthly pay, daily wages or service charge shares, across several branches.
Accounting firms handling payroll for clients
Run separate payroll for many client companies from one login, with separate rules for each.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| The Excel salary sheet breaks when someone edits a formula. | Salary rules are stored once and applied to everyone, with a log of who changed what. |
| Nepali months have 29 to 32 days and day-based pay goes wrong. | Pay periods follow the Bikram Sambat calendar and you choose how part-month joiners and leavers are prorated. |
| Advances and loans to staff are forgotten at month end. | Advances are recorded with an instalment plan and recovered automatically on each sheet until cleared. |
| Year-end tax and PF statements take days to compile. | Every month is stored per employee, so yearly summaries are a report, not a rebuild. |
| Staff keep asking "how was my salary calculated?" | A clear payslip shows each earning and deduction and can be sent as a PDF on WhatsApp. |
| Rules change and nobody updates the sheet in time. | Rates and limits are settings you or WebsNP update on a date, so older months keep the rules that applied then. |

Does the software know the current tax and PF rates?
Rates and limits change with each Finance Act and under the Labour Act, so we do not hard-code them. They are settings that you and your accountant confirm with the official source, and the software applies them consistently.
Can it handle salary by Nepali month?
Yes. Pay periods follow the Bikram Sambat calendar, and you choose whether part-month pay uses calendar days, a fixed 30-day month or another rule your company follows.
Can employees get payslips on WhatsApp?
Payslips can be generated as PDF files. Your HR team can share them on WhatsApp, and access to each payslip is limited to the right person if you also give staff a login.
Can we import our existing Excel employee list?
Yes. We map your columns to the employee fields, import them, and check a sample together before you run the first sheet.
Can it connect to our attendance machine?
It can take attendance from our attendance software or from an import file, so days present, leave and overtime flow into payroll. Device compatibility is checked during the demo.
Is salary data safe?
Access is role based, changes are logged and backups are taken on a schedule you agree. Only users you choose can open salary screens.
How much does payroll software cost?
It depends on the number of employees, branches and customisation. We give a quote after a short demo and a look at your current salary sheet.
Can we run payroll for several branches?
Yes. Branches or departments can be reported separately, while head office still sees the consolidated salary cost for the whole company and can compare one branch against another.
