Loan Management Software for Lenders in Nepal
Record every loan from application to closing with instalment schedules, interest, collateral files, overdue alerts and borrower statements in Bikram Sambat dates.
A loan is a promise that lasts months or years, and the paperwork behind it must last just as long. Who borrowed, how much, at what rate, against which collateral, who guaranteed, what was paid and what is still due. In a notebook those answers are scattered. In a loan system they sit on one screen.
WebsNP builds loan management software for individuals, firms and small finance businesses in Nepal that lend to borrowers. It generates the instalment schedule, applies payments in your order of priority, keeps collateral and guarantor files, and shows exactly which loans are overdue and by how many days.
Lending is regulated in Nepal and rules differ by type of institution. The software supports your records; it does not give legal advice, and you should confirm current legal requirements with the relevant authority or your lawyer. If you lend to members of a co-operative, our sahakari software may fit better.
Who Loan Management Software is for
Private and trade lenders
Businesses that lend to customers or traders against cheques, collateral or guarantors and need a reliable record of each loan.
Small finance and leasing firms
Companies that finance vehicles, equipment or consumer goods on monthly instalments and track many borrowers at once.
Shopkeepers who give credit
Retailers and wholesalers who convert large credit balances into instalment plans and want a proper schedule instead of a note in the khata.
Employee and staff loan schemes
Organisations that give salary advances or staff loans and recover them through monthly deductions.
Individual investors and family offices
People who lend privately against land or gold and want to stop relying on memory and a notebook.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Instalment dates and amounts are worked out by hand | The schedule is generated from amount, rate, term and method, printed with BS dates and updated when the borrower pays early or late. |
| Borrower disputes the balance | A statement shows every payment, how it was split into interest, principal and penalty, and the balance after each line. |
| Collateral papers are in cupboards and nobody knows what is where | Each loan carries a collateral record with owner, description, valuation, document location and scanned copies. |
| Overdue loans are noticed too late | A daily overdue list shows days late, amount due and last contact so follow-up starts early. |
| One person alone knows the loan book | Records live in a shared system with roles, so an absent manager no longer stops collections or audits. |
| Interest on early settlement is argued about | A payoff quotation as of any date shows exactly what is needed to close the loan, using the rules you set. |

Which interest methods does the software support?
Flat, reducing balance and interest-only structures can be configured, with monthly, weekly or custom instalment patterns. We set the exact formula with you and test it against manual calculations so that you trust the schedule before going live.
Can it handle partial and early payments?
Yes. Payments are applied in the order you define, usually penalty, interest and then principal. For early settlement it can show a payoff amount as of any date, and the schedule is recalculated according to your rules.
Can I store collateral and guarantor details?
Yes. Each loan can carry collateral records with description, valuation and scanned documents, and guarantors are linked as profiles so you can see their exposure across loans. Release of collateral is recorded when the loan closes.
Is it only for big institutions?
No. An individual lender or a small firm can start with borrowers, loans, schedules and receipts and add reminders and reports later. We scale the set-up to your size and quote accordingly after a demo.
Does it send reminders to borrowers?
Reminders can be configured through an SMS gateway, or staff can send WhatsApp messages from the overdue list. The follow-up log keeps a record of what was said and promised so nothing depends on memory.
Is the software legally compliant for lending in Nepal?
The software supports your record-keeping, but legal compliance depends on your licence, your borrowers and the law that applies to you. Please confirm those requirements with the relevant authority or a lawyer, and we will configure documents and reports accordingly.
Can I move my existing notebook or Excel data?
Usually yes. We take the borrower list and open loan balances, check them with you and import them. Older closed loans can be kept as an archive file or entered in summary form.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on users, branches, modules and hosting. We give a written quote after a short demo and discussion of your loan products, with no obligation to continue.
