Software for Building Materials Suppliers in Nepal
Take orders for cement, rod, brick and sand, track every truck to the site and see what each contractor owes you without opening a notebook.
A building materials supplier in Nepal lives on phone calls. A contractor rings at seven in the morning for two hundred bags of cement, a tipper of sand and some rod for tomorrow, and the order is written on a slip, a palm or the back of a bill book. By evening nobody is sure what was promised, what left the yard and what the contractor already owes. Building materials supplier software turns that call into a record.
WebsNP sets the system up around the way yards and depots here really trade: bulk quantities, mixed units such as bags, kg, tonnes, pieces and tipper loads, deliveries to named sites, long credit with contractors and rates that move with the market. Each order becomes a delivery, each delivery becomes a bill and each bill lands in the contractor ledger.
You see stock in the yard, pending deliveries for the day and total outstanding by contractor on one screen. If you also run a retail counter, read about hardware shop software, or message us on WhatsApp for a demo built around your own materials.
Who Building Materials Supplier Software is for
Cement and rod dealers
You buy from several producers or distributors, resell in bulk and need brand-wise stock and purchase tracking.
Sand, gitti and aggregate suppliers
You sell by tipper, tractor or cubic measure and need truck-wise loading and delivery records.
Brick and block suppliers
You count by pieces in thousands and deal with breakage, returns and site-wise deliveries.
Multi-material depots
You sell paint, pipes, tiles, timber and fittings along with heavy materials and want a single stock list.
Suppliers with contractor credit
Most of your sales are on udharo to contractors and house owners, and collecting on time is your biggest worry.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Phone orders are written on slips and some are lost or misheard | Each order is entered with the customer, site, items, quantity and promised date, and appears on a day-wise delivery list. |
| Nobody knows exactly what a contractor owes across five different sites | The ledger holds every bill and payment per contractor and can be split site by site. |
| Stock in the yard does not match the book because loads leave without being entered | Stock reduces when a delivery is dispatched, with loading by vehicle number and driver recorded against it. |
| Rates change and old customers insist on the earlier rate | Every bill stores the rate used on that day, and a rate list per item and per customer type can be updated centrally. |
| Short or damaged deliveries become arguments weeks later | Delivery notes record quantity sent, quantity received and breakage, so disputes are settled from the record. |
| Cheques and post-dated payments are forgotten | Cheque date, bank and amount are logged, and a due list shows what should be deposited this week. |

Units that mix bags, tonnes and tippers
Cement goes in bags, rod in kg or bundles, brick in thousands, sand and gitti in tippers or cubic measures. Conversions are set up per item so stock stays consistent.
Bikram Sambat dates and fiscal year
Bills, due dates and statements show BS dates, and the books can follow the Nepali fiscal year starting in Shrawan.
VAT-ready bills
Where you are VAT registered, bills can be set up with 13% VAT. Confirm your own registration and invoicing duty with the IRD or your accountant.
Monsoon and construction seasons
Demand drops in heavy rain and rises before the dry months. Month-wise reports help you plan stock and credit exposure around these swings.
Long contractor credit
Payment often follows the contractor's own running bill. Ledgers and reminders are designed for slow, partial payments over many months.

Read guide ›Frequently asked questions
Can it handle different units like bags, tonnes and tippers?
Yes. Each item is set up with the unit you sell in and, where needed, a conversion to the unit you buy or stock in. Sand sold by tipper and cement sold by bag can sit in the same system without confusing stock.
Can I see what each contractor owes by site?
Yes. Bills and payments can be tagged to a site, so a contractor working on three buildings has a separate balance for each one as well as a combined total. Statements can be sent on WhatsApp or printed.
Does it track trucks and deliveries?
It records vehicle number, driver, quantity and site on a delivery note and tracks its status. It is not live GPS tracking unless you add a separate tracking device, which we can discuss during the demo.
Can bills carry VAT?
Bills can be configured for 13% VAT where your business is registered, with your PAN or VAT number on them. Confirm your own invoicing obligations with the IRD or your accountant before going live.
Can I move my present ledger into the software?
Yes. We import contractor names, phone numbers and opening balances from Excel, and handwritten ledgers can be typed in during set-up. The effort depends on how many accounts you have.
How does it help me collect overdue payments?
An ageing report shows who owes how much and for how long. You can send a statement or a reminder message by WhatsApp or SMS from the same screen, using wording you edit.
Can I manage purchases from cement and rod producers?
Yes. Incoming consignments, supplier bills and payments are recorded, so you can see stock, payables and the purchase cost behind each sale.
What does it cost?
The price depends on the number of users, yards and customisation, so we give a quote after a demo instead of a public fixed rate. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange the demo.
