Contractor Software for Project Costing, BOQ and Running Bills

See what each site has really cost against its BOQ, record daily expenses and labour, and prepare running bills without rebuilding the numbers every month.

A contractor in Nepal often runs three or four sites at once, each with its own BOQ, labour gang, material purchases and client billing. The money comes in as running bills and goes out daily as cement, rod, wages, transport and petty cash. Without a clear record, the profit or loss on a job becomes visible only when the project is nearly finished, which is too late to fix anything.

Construction management software from WebsNP ties together the BOQ, site-wise expenses, material issues, labour muster and bills. You can see the cost to date against the estimate for each item, notice when a site is overspending and prepare a running bill from measured quantities. It works alongside our project management software for task scheduling.

Because every contractor works differently, from small house builders to road and building contractors bidding on public tenders, WebsNP configures the software to your own BOQ format, units and approval steps. Prices come from a demo and a written quote after we understand your workload.

Problems it solves

The problem todayHow the software fixes it
You only learn a site is losing money when it is almost finished.Budget against actual cost by BOQ item and by category is visible at any time during the job.
Site expenses arrive as photographed bills and loose slips.Expenses are entered per site with category, vendor, bill number and an attached image.
Labour wages are calculated from a notebook and disputed at the end of the week.A daily muster per site gives each worker or gang days worked, rate and amount payable.
Materials disappear between the store and the site.Receipts and issues are recorded so that stock per site can be compared with work done.
Running bills take days to prepare from measurement sheets.Measured quantities against the BOQ create the bill, with previous billing and balance carried forward.
Subcontractor payments are unclear, with advances forgotten. Each subcontractor has a ledger with work order, advances, bills and payments.
Variations ordered verbally never get billed.Variation items are logged with date and approver so they can be added to the next bill.

How we get you started

  1. Learn how you bill and cost We look at a recent project: its BOQ, expense bills, muster and running bills.
  2. Set up categories and formats Expense heads, material list, labour categories and bill format are configured.
  3. Load one live project We enter an ongoing project with its BOQ and costs to date so you can judge real usefulness.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import my existing BOQ from Excel?

Usually yes. If your BOQ has clear item, unit, quantity and rate columns we can import it. Merged cells or unclear units may need tidying first to avoid errors.

Does it prepare running bills?

Yes. You record measured quantities against BOQ items and the system builds a bill with previous, current and cumulative quantities and amounts, in a format agreed with you.

Can site engineers enter expenses from a phone?

Yes. Site staff can enter expenses and attach a photo of the bill from a mobile browser, and the office sees them without waiting for paper to arrive.

How does it manage labour?

You set up workers or gangs with daily rates, mark attendance each day and the system produces a wage sheet with advances deducted. Overtime rules can be configured.

Can it handle several sites at once?

Yes. Each site has its own budget, stock, labour and expenses, and the owner dashboard summarises all of them or lets you open one at a time.

Does it work when the internet is slow at a site?

Entry needs a connection, so remote sites with weak signal may record on paper first and enter later. Ask for a demo to discuss your actual site conditions.

Does it cover VAT and TDS?

It can show VAT and TDS lines on bills and ledgers as configured. Tax treatment depends on your contract and current rules, so confirm with your accountant or the IRD.

What does it cost?

It depends on the number of users, sites and customisations. Message WebsNP on WhatsApp for a demo and written quote with no obligation to buy.
