Bus Ticketing and Seat Reservation Software for Nepali Operators
Sell seats from every counter without double sales, see each bus fill in real time and match every counter collection to the tickets issued.
On a busy evening in a Kathmandu bus park, the same seat can be promised twice: once at the main counter and once by a phone booking. The passenger finds out at boarding time. A company with several counters, agents and routes needs one seat map that every seller sees at the same moment.
Bus ticketing software from WebsNP gives you route and fare setup, seat maps for each bus layout, counter and agent sales, passenger lists for the driver and the end-of-day collection report that matches cash to tickets issued.
It suits long-route night buses, tourist coaches, micro and hiace services and operators who sell through partner counters. If your business is also parcels, see our courier and cargo software.

Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| The same seat is sold at two counters | A live seat map locks a seat the moment it is sold or held, whichever counter sells it. |
| Counter staff collect cash that does not match the tickets | Every counter has a daily sales sheet comparing tickets issued with money handed in. |
| Agents sell seats on credit and delay settlement | Agent ledgers record seats sold, commission and settlements with a dues list. |
| Passenger lists are written by hand at departure | A printable manifest with names, phone numbers, seat numbers and boarding points per departure. |
| Cancellations and refunds are untracked | Cancelled tickets free the seat, record the reason and the amount returned. |
| The owner cannot tell which trips and routes make money | Occupancy and revenue by route, departure time, bus and counter, compared with trip costs. |

Many routes pick up at several points such as Kalanki, Gongabu and Balkhu. Boarding point is recorded for each passenger and shown on the manifest.
Cash-heavy counters
Most counter sales are in cash, with growing QR use. Collections are tagged by mode and reconciled at closing.
Partner counters in other cities
Agents in Pokhara, Butwal or Birgunj can sell your seats with their own login and settlement ledger.
Intermittent connectivity
Counters in smaller towns may have weak internet. We discuss a backup connection and a fallback process so sales are not lost.

Does it prevent double selling of a seat?
Yes. All counters and agents work on the same live seat map. When a seat is sold or held, it changes status for everyone immediately, so a second sale of the same seat is blocked.
Can agents in other cities sell my tickets?
Yes. Agents get a login limited to the routes or seats you allow. Their sales, commission and settlements are tracked in a ledger, and you see their dues at any time.
Can passengers book online or by mobile?
A booking request page can be configured so customers choose a departure and seats, with your counter confirming. Online payment depends on separate arrangements, which we discuss during setup.
Does it print tickets and passenger lists?
Yes. You can print or share a ticket and print a manifest for each departure with seat numbers, names, phone numbers and boarding points for the driver or conductor.
How are counter collections checked?
Each counter has a closing report listing tickets sold, cancellations and money by mode. Staff hand in cash against that report, and any difference is visible to the owner the same day.
What if the internet is down at a counter?
The system needs an internet connection. We discuss a backup connection and an agreed fallback, such as seat allocations by phone, so a short outage does not stop sales.
Can it handle refunds and rescheduling?
Yes. Cancelled tickets release the seat and record your refund rule and reason. Rescheduling moves a passenger to another departure while keeping the original payment linked.
What does it cost?
It depends on the number of counters, buses and customisation. We give a quote after a demo and a conversation about your routes.
