Schools, colleges and training
Exam and Result Software for Marks, GPA and Marksheets in Nepal
Enter marks once, calculate grades and GPA by your own rules and print accurate marksheets and transcripts without late nights in Excel.
Result week is the most stressful time in a school office. Marks arrive late from teachers on paper, a formula breaks in a spreadsheet, one student's grade is wrong and the principal wants printed marksheets by morning. Each mistake takes hours to trace.
Exam and result software gives every teacher a simple marks-entry screen for their own subject and class. Totals, grades, GPA, rank and attendance are calculated by rules you define, and marksheets, ledgers and transcripts print from the same data. Corrections are made once and flow everywhere.
WebsNP configures the system for your school's exam structure: terminals, theory and practical or internal marks, pass marks and grading scale. Pricing comes after a demo and quote. For fees, admissions and timetables as well, see school management software.

Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Marks arrive on paper from many teachers and are typed by one person. | Teachers enter their own subject marks, with a deadline and a lock when entry closes. |
| A spreadsheet formula breaks and nobody notices until printing. | Grade and GPA rules are configured once and applied identically to every student. |
| Pass, fail and absent cases are handled differently by different staff. | Pass marks, absent codes and grace rules are defined centrally and applied automatically. |
| Marksheets must be reformatted and printed section by section. | Marksheets print in your format for a class, section or single student in one action. |
| Parents ask for old results and transcripts that take hours to find. | Every exam stays archived, searchable by student, and transcripts print on request. |
| Name and date of birth spellings differ between records and certificates. | Student details are held once and reused on every marksheet and certificate. |

Built for how Nepal works
Nepali grading and GPA conventions
Schools use letter grades and GPA scales set by the relevant board or curriculum body, and these can differ by level. The scale is configurable, and you should confirm the current one with your board.
Bikram Sambat dates and names
Exam dates, dates of birth and marksheet issue dates can be shown in BS, and student names can be printed in Nepali and English.
Terminal exam structure
The familiar pattern of first, second and third terminals with unit tests, theory and practical or internal marks can be set up as your school runs it.
Result day pressure
Parents queue on result day. Pre-checked, locked and previewed marksheets reduce corrections at the counter.
Board and external results
Results issued by national boards are authoritative. The software holds your school's own internal results and can store external results you enter for reference.

Can I set my own grading scale and GPA formula?
Yes. The grade bands, grade points and the way GPA is calculated are configurable. Confirm the current scale for your level with the relevant board or curriculum authority, and we will set it up that way.
Can teachers enter marks themselves?
Yes. Each teacher sees only their own subjects and classes. The system checks entries against maximum marks and the coordinator can lock entry at the deadline.
Does it handle theory and practical marks separately?
Yes. You can set theory, practical and internal components with their own maximum and pass marks, and define how they combine into the subject result.
Can I print marksheets in our own format?
Yes. The marksheet is designed to your layout, with logo, header, remarks and signature spaces. You can print for one student, a section or a whole class.
What if a mark is entered wrongly?
After entry is locked, a correction needs an authorised user, and the change log records the old value, the new value, who changed it and when, so the history stays clear.
Can parents see results online?
Results can be shared with parents through a link or message where the feature and channel are configured. You decide when results become visible.
Can it produce transcripts for past years?
Yes. Results from earlier exams stay archived and a transcript can be compiled from them. Older years need their data entered or imported first.
What does it cost?
The price depends on the number of students, classes, users and customisation, such as special marksheet layouts. You receive a written quote after a demo.
