Agriculture, trade and manufacturing
Agro-Vet and Cold Storage Software for Nepali Farm Businesses
Keep lot-wise stock, farmer credit, expiry dates and storage rent in one system, built for seasonal agriculture trade.
Agricultural businesses run on seasons. An agro-vet shop sells seed and fertiliser on credit before planting and collects after harvest. A cold store receives hundreds of farmers' produce in a few weeks, holds it for months and releases it against rent. In both cases the same problem returns: who deposited what, who owes what and what is left on the shelf or in the chamber.
WebsNP Agro and Cold Storage Software gives each farmer a ledger and each product or deposit a lot record. For the shop it handles billing, batch and expiry, supplier purchases and credit. For the cold store it handles inward receipts, chamber and lot locations, withdrawals, rent calculation and outstanding dues, with printed receipts the farmer can hold.
We set it up for your actual operation: shop only, cold store only or both together with a farm produce trading side. For general stock features, see our inventory software. Message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange a demo using your seasonal workflow.

Farm produce traders and collectors
Traders who buy from many farmers, hold stock and sell onward, tracking advances and payments.

Seed and fertiliser distributors
Wholesalers supplying many local shops with batch-wise stock and dealer credit.
Problems it solves
| The problem today | How the software fixes it |
|---|---|
| Farmers deposit produce and the register of lots, bags and weights is hard to find months later. | Every deposit gets a lot number, farmer name, quantity, chamber and receipt, searchable at any time. |
| Storage rent is calculated by hand at withdrawal and disputes follow. | Rent is calculated from the rule you set, such as per bag or per quintal and per period, and shown on a clear statement. |
| Seasonal credit to farmers is forgotten between planting and harvest. | A farmer ledger tracks every sale on credit, payment and balance, with reminder lists before and after harvest. |
| Pesticides, seeds and medicines expire on the shelf. | Batch and expiry dates are recorded at purchase and an expiry list shows items to sell, return or remove first. |
| The owner cannot tell how much stock remains in each chamber or shop shelf. | Chamber-wise and item-wise stock reports update with each inward, outward and sale. |
| Supplier dues, farmer dues and rent dues sit in different notebooks. | Supplier, farmer and customer accounts are kept together with ageing so you know who to pay and who to chase. |

Quintal, kilogram, bag and muri units
Produce is measured in different units in different places. We configure the units and conversions your business uses.
VAT and billing where applicable
Some inputs and services may be taxed and some exempt. The software can issue VAT invoices where you are registered; confirm treatment with your accountant or the tax office.
Farmer trust and receipts
Many farmers keep the paper receipt for months. Clear receipts with lot number, quantity and date reduce arguments at withdrawal.
Power cuts and cold chain notes
Cold stores depend on power. You can keep a log of outages, generator use and temperature readings alongside stock records.

Can it calculate cold storage rent automatically?
Yes. You define the rule, for example per bag or per quintal for a period, and the software calculates rent at withdrawal. We configure the rule to match how you charge, including partial withdrawals.
Can one farmer have several lots?
Yes. A farmer can deposit many lots across the season. Each lot has its own receipt, location and balance, and the farmer ledger brings all lots and dues together.
Does it track expiry for agro-vet items?
Yes. Batch number and expiry date are recorded at purchase, and an expiry report lists items approaching expiry so that you can sell or return them in time.
Can I give seasonal credit and track recovery?
Yes. You can set a credit limit per farmer, record sales on credit and receive payments later. Due lists and reminder messages help recovery after harvest.
Can it handle both my shop and my cold store?
It can. The shop and the store can share farmer accounts, so one statement shows shop credit and storage rent together, if that suits your business.
Does it issue VAT invoices?
It can be configured to produce VAT invoices for taxable sales if you are registered. Confirm which items and services are taxable with your accountant or the tax office.
Will it work with a weighing scale or barcode scanner?
Manual entry always works. Scanner and scale connection depends on the equipment. Tell us the model at the demo and we will confirm what can be done.
How much does it cost?
It depends on whether you need the shop, the cold store or both, the number of users and any custom rent rules. We provide a quote after a demo.
